LISW LMFT or LMHC Waterloo PRN

About the role

This position will have the support of a built-in referral network from the clinic with administrative support for billing, scheduling, and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families within the outpatient behavioral health setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Conduct intake assessments and ongoing evaluations to guide treatment planning.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
• Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in professional development activities to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices.

Requirements

• License to practice in the State of Iowa as an LISW, LMFT, or LMHC.
• Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology.
• Current license to practice in the State of Iowa.
• Experience in outpatient mental health settings.
• Knowledge of insurance billing and coding.

Skills

• Therapeutic skills in individual, couple, and family therapy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
