Join our team for a rewarding and fun career at the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB). The Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Store in Washington is hiring a Full‑Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2) to provide excellent customer service in a dynamic, high‑energy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership: Guide clerks during assigned shifts and support smooth store operations.
• Customer Service: Assist shoppers, resolve concerns, and maintain a positive environment.
• Sales Processing: Ring up orders and manage cash register transactions.
• Stock Management: Unload shipments, fill shelves, and maintain organized displays.
• Staff Training: Coach less‑experienced clerks on procedures and store policies.

Schedule

This is a full‑time, itinerant position based out of store #6317 in Washington with travel to other stores in the district as needed. Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly. Telework is not available. Free, secure onsite parking is provided.

Salary

The starting salary for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed in the posting and is not negotiable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months experience as a Liquor Store Clerk 1, intermittent Liquor Store Clerk, or equivalent retail sales work.
• Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
• Pass a background investigation; felony convictions within the last ten years are disqualifying, other convictions reviewed case‑by‑case.
