About the role
Investigate criminal and administrative violations of state and local laws governing the manufacture, sale, and distribution of alcoholic beverages, including motor-vehicle offenses and municipal ordinances.
Requirements
- U.S. citizen, at least 21 years of age at time of application.
- Willing to accept assignment anywhere in New Hampshire.
- Must pass polygraph, psychological, and physical-fitness examinations prior to employment.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire driver’s license.
- Before probationary period ends, must complete a certified police-officer training program that satisfies all applicable standards.
Qualifications
- Option 1: Associate degree (or 60 college credits) with a major preferably in criminal justice or equivalent.
- Option 2: High-school diploma or G.E.D. plus one of the following:
- Three years as a certified police officer in a recognized jurisdiction, or
- Three years as a corrections officer, or
- Three years of full-time active-duty military service with an honorable discharge, or
- A combination of the above totaling three years.
