Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Apply liquid coatings onto manufactured products in accordance with work orders, specifications, and quality standards.
- Perform touch-ups and rework on defective or incomplete painted surfaces to ensure finished product quality.
- Maintain painting equipment by cleaning nozzles, containers, hoses, and other components to support consistent application quality.
- Mix, prepare, and adjust paints to achieve required color, finish, and quality specifications.
- Read, interpret, and follow work orders and work instructions accurately to ensure proper execution of tasks.
- Conduct quality inspections before, during, and after paint application to ensure adherence to company standards and identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Ensure all completed work meets established quality expectations for appearance, coverage, and finish.
- Assist in other areas of production as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous painting or coating experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and production orders.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and take on additional tasks as needed.
