Responsibilities
- Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
- Coordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing
- Contributes to completion of major engineering programs and projects
- Develops solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems
- Oversees highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Performs continual maintenance and provides highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
- Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline
- 8+ years of related experience
- Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux; experience with NFS, AD/LDAP integration, Web Servers, certificates, LVM, VMware, Linux security hardening, Red Hat Satellite Server, Cloud and/or Hybrid-Cloud deployments, configuring storage over Fiber Channel
- Current DoD IAT II Level certification
- Works independently under limited supervision
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Ansible, kickstart deployments, Big Data solutions, containerization, Terraform, Splunk, AWS/Azure, and/or HPE storage solutions

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $140,821 - $190,523. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
