Linux Systems Engineer for Image Computer Product Development

About the role

The RAPID division of KLA is seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team. As a member of the RAPID division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable modules in Shell and Python
• Develop high-performance computational models
• Customize BIOS, Disk partitioning, RAID utilities, Net boot/PXE, System-D, and Linux HA
• Work with Configuration Mgmt utilities such as Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet
• Configure interconnected networks, including InfiniBand, Ethernet, RDMA, ROCE v2
• Work with server hardware, GPUs, and RAID/HBA controllers
• Model workloads and benchmark performance on x86 Hardware Platform

Requirements

• Skilled in Shell and Python
• Experience designing and implementing reusable modules
• Data science background with the ability to develop high-performance computational models
• In-depth knowledge of one or more flavors of Linux: SUSE, Red Hat, Rocky, Alma, Ubuntu
• Experience with customizing BIOS, Disk partitioning, RAID utilities, Net boot/PXE, System-D, and Linux HA
• Experience with few listed Configuration Mgmt utilities (Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet etc.)
• Interconnected Network configuration experience
• Setup, customization, monitoring of InfiniBand, Ethernet, RDMA, ROCE v2
• Experience with Server Hardware
• Familiarity with CUDA, RAID/HBA Controllers, and Storage Technologies aggregation like MdRaid
• Superior understanding of x86 Hardware Platform stack
• Proven track record for modelling workloads and benchmark performance

Qualifications

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0-2 years related work experience
• Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3-5 years
• Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5-7 years

• Base Pay Range: $117,800.00 - $200,300.00 Annually

• Pay Range: $117,800.00 - $200,300.00 Annually
