Linux Systems Administrator

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and optimizing Linux systems within a secure environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers
• Implement and manage security protocols
• Perform routine backups and disaster recovery tests
• Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments
• Collaborate with developers and other IT teams to resolve issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Linux administration
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Knowledge of network security best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash and Python
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (KVM, Xen)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
