About the role

Install systems on dedicated infrastructure, ensure the infrastructure is functional and available, and update and patch critical systems. Provide customers with insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with systems administration
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS
  • Experience with managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi
  • Knowledge of Linux iptables, networking configuration, and DNS
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date

Skills

  • Nice if you have: Experience with AWS DevOps, Cloud Formation
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as SaltStack or Ansible
  • Experience with Python, YAML, or JSON
  • DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification

Benefits

  • Salary range: $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD)

Pay

  • Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Schedule

  • Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
