Senior Linux System Administrator
About the role
The Linux System Administrator manages the day-to-day operations of Linux servers, ensuring system stability, security, and efficiency. This role involves troubleshooting issues, automating tasks, and supporting development or operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux server infrastructure
- Install, configure, and operate JBoss and VMWare environments
- Create and manage VMs
- Automate server management tasks using Ansible
- Support development and operations teams
- Provide technical guidance and solutions to resolve issues
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 10 years experience as a Linux System Administrator / Engineering
- Extensive experience installing, configuring, and maintaining JBoss and VMWare environments
- Experience with VM creation, configuration, and operation
- Experience with RH Ansible
