About the role
Responsible for maintaining and optimizing Linux servers, ensuring system stability and security.
Responsibilities
- Manage server infrastructure, including installation and configuration of new systems.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Perform routine backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Linux administration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.
Skills
- Linux command-line proficiency.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM).
- Understanding of storage solutions (SAN, NAS).
- Basic understanding of DevOps tools and methodologies.
