Liner Supervisor
About the role
The Liner Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of one assigned shift of hourly employees, Monday-Thursday nights from 6PM-6AM. Key responsibilities include supervision, direction, and leadership in safety, quality, productivity, and engagement to ensure goals are met. This role also involves training, planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating employee performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; promoting safety, quality production, and teamwork; and resolving conflicts.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise one shift of hourly employees, Monday-Thursday nights, 6PM-6AM
- Supervise daily production of flexible liquid liner and injection molding products
- Train, assign, and direct work to employees
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback
- Reward and discipline employees as appropriate
- Promote safety, quality production, and teamwork among employees
- Resolve conflicts and issues that arise
- Communicate operational information to crew members, supervisors, plant management, and external stakeholders
- Promote and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and other organizational programs and initiatives
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required. Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry preferred. Two years of supervisory experience in liquid liner manufacturing or injection molding processes preferred.

Pay
$69,500 - $92,600 (USCORE)
Multiple factors, including individual experience, skills, and abilities, will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP's annual incentive plan.
