Linen Worker

Part-time, rotating shift position at Samaritan Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform linen handling functions including cart preparation and distribution of clean linen to user departments.
• Fill linen carts to pre-determined par levels and deliver them to various departments throughout the hospital.
• Restock linen shelves and collect soiled linen from different departments.
• Fold linen and scrubs, load the scrub machine, and build Operating Room packs.
• Maintain a clean and organized linen department.

Requirements

• Must be able to respond appropriately to written and verbal instructions.
• Computer knowledge desired.

Pay

$16.20 - $20.75 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.
