Linen Technician

Purpose & Scope

• Stock clean linen carts with appropriate par levels.
• Deliver clean linen carts to units/floors in a timely manner.
• Classify clean linen.
• Provide back-up coverage and assist in training new co-workers as needed.
• Unload Commercial Laundry carts, place linen neatly on designated shelves.
• Load/unload commercial laundry truck.
• Pick up soiled linen from units on a scheduled basis and load carts for delivery to laundry.

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

One year of healthcare or hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand both verbal and written instructions.
