About the role
Linen Technician responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely distribution and management of linen within a healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect clean and soiled linen
- Accurately record inventories
- Organize storage areas
- Manage linen levels
- Build back carts to prescribed levels
- Respond to service calls professionally
- Report linen abuse
- Maintain a tidy linen room
- Follow policies and procedures provided by the Linen Distribution Manager (LDM)

Decision-Making
Determine quantities and schedules for linen delivery based on operational needs.
Requirements
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and meet vaccine or attestations
- Physically active role involving walking, lifting, pushing, and handling soiled textiles
Work Environment
- Active, physically demanding role
- Lifting up to 10 pounds
- Pushing carts weighing up to 70 pounds
- Walking multiple miles daily
- Flexibility to perform additional shift duties if needed
