Linen Tech

About the role

The Linen Technician is responsible for all functions in the Linen Area including inventory and replenishment. All par-stock deliveries will be recorded and turned in at the end of the shift. Ability to track Scrub-Ex machine par levels, restock/empty machines as assigned. Keep department organized.

Responsibilities

• Track Scrub-Ex machine par levels, restock/empty machines as assigned.
• Keep department organized.
• Answer department phone when assigned, respond promptly to requests.
• Perform other tasks necessary to achieve complete customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Required to read, speak, write, do simple mathematical calculations, understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to count and record linen delivered.
• Must have physical ability to push and pull carts safely, stock carts, deliver linen to all areas.
• Must be able to spend considerable amount of time each shift standing and walking.

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation

Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
