Linen Distribution Technician; 0.2FTE; Day Shift

About the role

The Linen Distribution Technician receives all linen into the Meriter computer system. Using the computer system, this position maintains accurate linen inventory through purchasing and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate linen inventory through purchasing and cycle counting.
• Aids in maintaining appropriate linen inventory levels.
• Performs periodic automatic replenishment (PAR) distribution functions related to service requests.
• Assists with Scrub management and soiled linen management for Hospital units and clinic locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent reading, verbal and written communication skills
• Computer keyboard and basic accounting skills
• Good concentration and problem-solving skills
• Good organization and detail skills
• Three months of computer experience with inventory control and receiving (preferred)
