Linen Attendant - EVS Linen Services

About the role

The Linen Attendant, under the supervision of the linen services manager and the lead linen attendant, is responsible for the inventory, stocking, and delivery of linen carts using a tracking program on an iPad. This position may also involve washing, folding, and sanitizing linens as necessary.

Schedule

• Day Shift
• 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• 24 scheduled weekly hours

Responsibilities

• Inventory, stock, and deliver linen carts using a tracking program on an iPad
• Wash, fold, and sanitize linens as necessary
• Work alone and after hours frequently
• Stand and walk on a continual basis
• Observe all safety standards and use safety work techniques at all times
• Act as an advocate for and strive to protect the health, safety, and rights of patients
• Demonstrate awareness of safety protocols, including Materials Safety Data Sheets and Personal Protective Equipment

Qualifications

• No prior experience required
• Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
