Linemen (Line Technician 3 - Journeyman)

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical transmission and distribution systems. Perform tasks such as installing, testing, and repairing power lines and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and repair power lines and equipment
• Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
• Coordinate with other teams to resolve complex issues
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical work
• Ability to work in various weather conditions

Qualifications

• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Skills

• Knowledge of electrical theory and practices
• Experience with aerial work platforms
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
