Line Supervisor 3rd Shift

The Line Supervisor role serves as the talent hub for internal growth and development, with promotions into training, maintenance, quality, sales support, and operations leadership. Responsibilities
- Check all product and components with each job on the line for accuracy.
- Assign areas of work for each packager on the line; ensure each person is performing their job duties.
- Complete line paperwork.
- Calculate hourly efficiency and make necessary adjustments to the line.
- Check quality of finished goods and call for quality assistance when questionable.
- Request maintenance on machinery when problems arise.
- Ensure the line is cleaned between jobs and at the end of the shift.
- Communicate any problems or concerns with the Shift Supervisor.
- Anticipate changes and act accordingly.
- Maintain efficient productivity rates while complying with safety, quality, and GMP practices.
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
- Prior working experience as a supervisor, leader, or trainer strongly preferred.
- 2-4 years of previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
- Good organizational skills and mathematical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, spontaneous, and fast-moving in an always-changing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
- Ability to work and adapt in a diverse environment where multiple languages are spoken.
Pay
Starting pay is $23/hour during the 8-week training program and increases immediately to $25/hour once certified. With overtime (average 50+ hours per week), there is strong earnings potential, ranging from $60,000 to $75,000+ per year.
