Line Service Attendant C-573 (8th Shift)

Job Summary

To perform a variety of line service activities for Company and customer owned aircraft and general Service Center facilities maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains watch and meets aircraft on taxi ramp.
• Tows, parks, and secures aircraft at various ramp and hangar locations.
• As required, inventory and store personal contents.
• Washes, cleans, polishes and/or waxes exterior; cleans and services interior of aircraft.
• Defuels and fuels aircraft. Completes fuel usage forms and records.
• Positions and operates group power and other aircraft service units.
• Picks up, transports, and delivers personnel, parts, tools, supplies and equipment for the Service Center.
• Performs general cleaning of ramps and service facilities.
• As required, moves equipment, furniture, storage bins, etc.
• Maintains assigned service equipment and transportation vehicles.
• Performs cleaning and routine maintenance checks.
• Observes and complies with all safety rules and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education

• Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
• Requires ability to read shop orders, use basic mathematics and maintain required records and forms.

Experience

• Requires a minimum of three (3) months aircraft ground handling experience (aircraft towing, parking, securing, and taxi-ramp operations) or commercial driving experience.

Working Conditions

Somewhat disagreeable due to exposure to noise and weather elements.
