Line/Prep Cook (Weekend Nights)

About the role

Ted’s Montana Grill isn’t your ordinary restaurant. While we’re premium, polished, professional, and cool, we live by “The Big Sky Spirit,” which guides everything we do. Our menu items are made in small batches in a scratch kitchen, and our on‑premise butcher shop allows the team to hand‑carve and grind beef and bison daily for peak freshness and flavor. As a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Dishwasher, you will prepare these made‑from‑scratch foods, showcase showmanship, and interact with guests in our display kitchens.

Responsibilities

• Prepare made‑from‑scratch menu items, including hand‑carving and grinding meat in the on‑site butcher shop.
• Demonstrate showmanship and engage with guests in the display kitchens.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow food‑safety standards.
• Assist with dishwashing and basic kitchen support as needed.

Requirements

• Full‑service restaurant kitchen experience (desired).
• Strong team player with the ability to multitask.
• Passion for great food and the “Big Sky Spirit.”
• Physical ability to stand for the entire shift, lift and carry up to 100 lb (up to 20 times per shift), and perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and pushing.
• Comfortable working in environments with smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, and extreme cold.
