Line Operator, Overnight, Fresh Kitchen - Dacula

About the role

This position leads a production line, ensuring efficient operation, troubleshooting process problems, and coordinating team activities to meet production schedules while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment on the production line efficiently
• Troubleshoot process problems on all assigned equipment
• Lead all production team members on the line
• Ensure correct usage of raw materials, labels, and other supplies
• Coordinate breaks and lunches for associates working on the line
• Drive associates to meet the production schedule
• Cross-train all production associates
• Encourage adherence to all safety guidelines and practices
• Maintain clean equipment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Complete all necessary paperwork required by the position
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to push or pull heavy equipment
• Basic mechanical skills and general knowledge of machine operation
• Creative thinking for troubleshooting
• Excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Safe working habits
• Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good human relations skills and ability to work well with others
• Willingness to work any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to assist other team members in other areas
• Ability to perform steady and productive work for extended periods
• Ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions

Schedule

Set 4-day, 10-hour schedule: 9:30 PM – 8:00 AM or 12:30 AM – 11:00 AM, Sunday through Wednesday.
