Line Operator

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer parts and/or baskets into the 110/130/140 line using a crane or hoist.
• Complete visual inspections and quality checks before processing and alert Quality Personnel or Team Lead about any damaged, dirty or contaminated parts.
• Understand and troubleshoot basic line or crane/hoist issues.
• Completes all necessary production reporting forms per quality instructions.
• Basic use of computers as needed.
• Assists with loading and unloading duties as needed, both on and off the production line.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• May require working flexible hours.
• Carries out other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• May be required to obtain certifications/licenses.
• Minimal to no experience in a manufacturing environment is acceptable.
• Required skills and competencies include:
• Ability to work independently once trained.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate intermediate reading skills.
• Ability to effectively present information.
• Demonstrate basic mathematical skills.
• Sufficient skills for data entry (MS Excel and Word) and reporting activities.
• Basic working knowledge of: Internet software, e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets and project tracking.
