Responsibilities
- Load and unload customer parts and/or baskets into the 110/130/140 line using a crane or hoist.
- Complete visual inspections and quality checks before processing and alert Quality Personnel or Team Lead about any damaged, dirty or contaminated parts.
- Understand and troubleshoot basic line or crane/hoist issues.
- Completes all necessary production reporting forms per quality instructions.
- Basic use of computers as needed.
- Assists with loading and unloading duties as needed, both on and off the production line.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- May require working flexible hours.
- Carries out other duties as directed.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- May be required to obtain certifications/licenses.
- Minimal to no experience in a manufacturing environment is acceptable.
- Required skills and competencies include:
- Ability to work independently once trained.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate intermediate reading skills.
- Ability to effectively present information.
- Demonstrate basic mathematical skills.
- Sufficient skills for data entry (MS Excel and Word) and reporting activities.
- Basic working knowledge of: Internet software, e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets and project tracking.
