Line Operator

About the Role

This is a 3-month training position at the corporate global headquarters in Korea. Candidates will meet corporate management, expand career knowledge, and be paid to learn while spending 3 months on-site. Upon completion, a full-time, permanent position in Cedar City, Utah is guaranteed and required.

Korean language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment failures and abnormal operating conditions.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) activities to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
• Investigate equipment issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain equipment maintenance records and documentation.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate the procurement of maintenance materials.
• Support equipment asset management activities.
• Support automated production systems and Smart Factory initiatives.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot robotic and automated equipment.
• Participate in equipment modifications, upgrades, and overhaul projects.
• Recommend and implement equipment and process improvements to increase productivity and quality.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and validation of new production equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures and production issues.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when required.
• Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S activities throughout the production area.

Requirements

• Technical certification related to electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, automation, or manufacturing operations (preferred).
• Ability to work overtime or respond to equipment issues when necessary.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience with industrial robots and automated manufacturing equipment (preferred).
• PLC troubleshooting experience (preferred).
• Preventive maintenance and equipment improvement experience (preferred).
• Experience working in a Smart Factory or highly automated manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Ability to use 2D/3D CAD software (preferred).

Pay

Annual salary range: $50,000 – $70,000 USD.
