Line Operator

Responsibilities

  • Work at various stations of the production line to ensure continuous 24/7 production.
  • Assemble Photovoltaic Modules in a clean, fast-paced modern manufacturing facility.
  • Feed raw materials to semi-automated machines.
  • Solder repair to be performed on solar cells.
  • Perform quality and testing procedures based on a set criterion at every stage of the production line.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
  • Follow all health and safety policies.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • No experience necessary, on-the-job training provided.
  • Preference given to those who demonstrate technical capabilities and have manufacturing experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of understanding and following oral and written instructions.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Maintain production and quality standards.
  • Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motion tasks for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to tolerate an assembly line environment.

Qualifications

  • Technical capabilities and manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of understanding and following oral and written instructions.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Skills

  • Computer experience is considered an asset.
  • Soldering experience is an asset.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
  • Self-motivated.

Pay

Salary: $21.00 - $22.00 /hr
Night Shift premium: $1 per hour

Schedule

12-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off rotation
