Line Operator 1

Position Summary

The Line Operator 1 is responsible for tending to individual machinery in the Bakery processing areas, including proofing, pressing, docking, baking, de-panning, and pan loading. This position works collaboratively to achieve Nestlé business objectives of safety, productivity, customer service, quality, and environmental protection.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• English proficiency
• 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

What You’ll Learn

• Loads and unloads pans to and from conveyors and on and off carts
• Maintains and operates proofer, press, docker, oven, depanner, and conveyors
• Maintains and operates Clean Out of Place tank (COP) and Mallet oiler
• Monitors and adjusts machines through control screens, panels, and switches
• Ensures work area cleanliness and adherence to product specifications
• Reports deviations from product specifications to supervisors
• Achieves goals and objectives set by management
• Suggests ways to control labor and supply costs and improve processes
• Participates in sustainability initiatives

• Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

• Proactive identification and reporting of potential hazards
