Line Maintenance Mechanic "A"

Primary Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety and PPE requirements.
• Install, repair, adjust, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on all types of plant equipment and facility.
• Inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, install, clean and assemble as necessary to maintain equipment/buildings as necessary.
• Use various types of meters and testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and communicate effectively with supervision and engineering team.
• Interpret blueprints.
• Welding.
• Performs daily inspections and maintains repair logs.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years verifiable mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• One (1) year as a Class “B” Maintenance Mechanic.
• One (1) year as a Class “C” Maintenance Mechanic.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Good organizational skills to process job related data.
• Able to provide relevant, clear and timely information.
• Able to anticipate needs of the facility and proceed to a solution with minimal direction.
• Able to analyze and develop solutions in timely manner.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as with the team.
• Must have basic mathematical skills.
• Must be able to use power tools including electrical testing and measuring equipment.

Education, Licenses & Certifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certificate of completion from Class “B” and “C” TPC training modules.
