Line Maintainer

About the role

The line maintainer will trouble shoot line equipment, perform machine repairs, and set up and adjust line equipment for production in Altium's plants.

Responsibilities

• Comply with OSHA and company safety and hygiene standards
• Set-up and adjust equipment to produce bottles
• Perform machine repairs and overhauls as directed by supervisor
• Ability to start up, shut down and trouble shoot all line equipment
• Perform necessary machine adjustments to ensure production meets customer specification
• Ensures proper lubrication of all equipment
• Maintain checklists and complete reports as required
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Keep assigned work area clean and orderly
• Participate in plant team improvement program
• Provide break relief as directed by supervisor
• Maintain minimum tool requirement for BMT
• Other duties as assigned
• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs

Requirements

• HS graduation required
• Minimum of 2 years as a Blow Mold Technician
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
