Line Lead CoPack 1st Shift

About the role

The Line Lead coordinates all projects and related support activities in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. This role ensures compliance with policies, procedures, processes, and equipment (SOPs) and recommends improvements to direct supervision. The Line Lead produces product according to written specifications and guidelines while supporting cost control efforts and resolving operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Understand quality specifications for each product and train workforce to meet or exceed expectations.
• Oversee assembly production line and temporary employees.
• Supervise and assist with labeling, casing, or packing of materials or products.
• Train new temporary workforce.
• Provide feedback to employees on job expectations and conduct employee counseling.
• Maintain all appropriate paperwork.
• Communicate with management and staffing partners to address production issues, discuss improvements, handle labor issues, and correct packing and machine problems.
• Maintain production line efficiency, quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Work all required overtime.
• Ensure temporary employees comply with proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in a production environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a varied, fast-paced environment.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
