Responsibilities

• In charge of on-the-job training on an as-needed basis and responsible for leading a team
• Requesting material for the team and material verification
• Aiding the team in manufacturing parts and/or troubleshooting when needed
• Responsible for returning all material when the project is completed
• Ensuring 100% adherence to the manufacturing process requirements, such as daily in-process inspection and documentation control
• Aiding in root cause investigation of non-conforming products and supplier corrective action as assigned
• Ensuring proper cGMP, such as labeling and documentation
• Conducting daily in-process inspection
• Collecting and reporting data to the Shift Supervisor and expected to manufacture 75% of the time
• Taking initiative to find work when necessary and identifying continuous improvement initiatives, working with the Shift Supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent or related work experience and/or training
• Understand basic blueprints/specifications preferred
• General math skills with metric conversions preferred
• 1 to 3 years of medical device experience in clean room
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and cGMP preferred
• Lifting and moving up to 50 lbs, must be able to work with a microscope, and sit for an extended period of time

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work in team environments and promote teamwork among others
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of safety and documentation
• Basic computer skills: Excel, Word
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English preferred

Skills

• Understanding of basic blueprints/specifications
• General math skills with metric conversions
• Medical device experience in clean room
• ISO 13485 and cGMP knowledge

Pay

The hourly range for this position is $21.99 to $28.53. The posted hourly range complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as market conditions, level of experience and training, education, certifications, as well as internal and external equity.

Schedule

This position requires the employee to be onsite at our VitalPath Maplewood, MN location. Shift/Schedule: First Shift Monday Thursday 4:00am2:30pm (4x10 hour days)
