About the role

We are seeking a reliable, fast-paced Line Cook to join our back-of-house team. You will manage a specific kitchen station, prepare food items according to standardized recipes, ensure proper portion sizes, coordinate with other kitchen staff, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize preparation of food items
• Prepare food according to standardized recipes
• Ensure proper size and weight of food portions
• Cook and plate food items to order
• Circulate through work area to maintain atmosphere control
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and walk-in cooler
• Ensure kitchen area remains clean and free of hazards
• Perform opening and closing duties
• Sanitize and adhere to safety standards
• Follow standard recipes regarding presentation of food items
• Rotate food items and keep kitchen equipment clean
• Perform all opening and closing duties

Requirements

• Knowledge of high-volume kitchen operations
• Inspection of food spoilage and proper rotation
• Kitchen sanitation

• Expediting knowledge
• Skills in using all kitchen equipment
• Following standardized recipes and plate presentation
• Maintaining the pace of a high-volume kitchen

Qualifications

• Preferred 3 years' work experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment
• Experience in a live music environment

Physical Demands/Working Environment

• Fast-paced and loud environment
• Extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
• Extreme heat
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 150 lbs.
