About the role

Responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Collaborate with chefs to ensure quality and consistency in dishes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and under supervision.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Support team members in achieving kitchen goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a food service setting preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Valid food handler’s permit.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and recipes.

Skills

  • Proficient in using kitchen equipment and tools.
