About the Role
The Line Cook provides a supreme dining experience to guests by preparing high-quality meals. The main goal is to ensure guests always enjoy exceptional dining experiences, whether working in an on-trend national brand or an iconic local concept. You will create and deliver first-class experiences for travelers while upholding the company’s mission and service standards in a safe, respectful work environment.
Responsibilities
- Embody a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.

- Prepare high-quality meals with 100% recipe adherence, including seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, portioning, and serving food items.
- Follow production prep lists, maintain accurate records, and requisition supplies/equipment as needed.
- Use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
- Wash, slice, peel, and prep food items according to recipes and brand standards.
- Store prepared food items safely, ensuring proper date labeling and rotation.
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and operational excellence standards.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws and regulations.
- Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
- Assist with ordering and planning food supplies as directed by the supervisor.
- Report equipment repair and maintenance needs to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and paying attention to detail.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience; high-volume or fast-casual dining experience preferred.
- ServeSafe Certification or equivalent required by state.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work unsupervised, demonstrate good judgment, and handle guest interactions professionally.
Qualifications
- Ability to work various shifts in a 7-day/365 environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent customer service skills and strong English communication abilities.
- Self-starter able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English.
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., stand for long periods, bend, reach, grip, climb ladders, and walk long distances.
- Comfort working in environments with high heat, steam, and varying odors.
