Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up station according to Sauced Standard and Guideline
  • Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follows recipes, portion control and presentation specifications as set by Sauced BBQ
  • Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift
  • Maintain a clean work station, constantly practicing food safety, sanitation and organizational skills
  • Understand and know how to properly use and maintain all equipment in your station
  • Aids with cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
  • Maintain a clean uniform and understand the he/she is always on stage
  • Absorb and retain information quickly and ensure 100% compliance with all company policies and laws, including health and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with Sauced Code of Ethics, Integrity and Conduct
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Executive Kitchen Manager or Kitchen Manager at any time

Operational Execution

  • Knows to keep track of and report all wasted food
  • Handles and rotates all food products properly
  • Maintain a clean uniform and understands the he/she is always on stage
  • Absorb and retain information quickly and ensure 100% compliance with all company policies and laws, including health and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with Sauced Code of Ethics, Integrity and Conduct
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Executive Kitchen Manager or Kitchen Manager at any time

Necessary Skills & Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • A minimum of 2 years full service, high volume, casual dining restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
  • Able to memorize menu recipes to ensure speed and accuracy for our guests
  • Experience working in a team orientated environment
  • Must have knowledge of knife skills
  • Essential hand/eye coordination
  • Knowledge of principles for dealing directly with the public
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • Mature judgment in handling all matters
  • Excellent organization and problem solving skills
  • Standing and walking during entire 8 hour shift
  • Lift and carry supplies and cases up to 50 lbs
  • Reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour and carry
  • Understanding of restaurant KDS systems
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
  • Food Handlers permit required
