Line Cook (Noodle)

About the role

As a Noodle Line Cook, you’ll prepare Din Tai Fung’s signature noodle dishes following the company’s recipes, cook times, techniques, and plating standards to ensure every plate meets the quality and consistency guests expect.

You’ll start by checking ingredient quality, preparing and cutting garnishes, and setting up your station for service. Throughout the shift, you’ll focus on precision and teamwork while maintaining a clean, organized station.

Responsibilities

• Prepare signature noodle dishes according to Din Tai Fung’s recipes and standards
• Check ingredient quality and prepare garnishes
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized station
• Properly label items in compliance with health department regulations and company procedures
• Participate in monthly staff and noodle department meetings
• Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
• Organize items within walk-in coolers and freezers
• Lift and move boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
• Assist with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
• Maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary information, including recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Positive and professional attitude
• Open availability
• Experience preferred but not required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to provide documentation to work in the United States legally
