About the Role

You will be responsible for properly preparing and cooking all food items in a safe, timely, and organized manner while maintaining high quality and demonstrating professionalism that reflects our company values.

Responsibilities

• Produce food from standardized recipes.
• Prepare, portion, and cook food accordingly.
• Ensure stations are prepared to meet anticipated levels of business for the day, assisting fellow staff when needed.
• Accomplish daily cleaning duties efficiently while following sanitation guidelines.
• Handle high-volume cooking and plating while maintaining consistent food quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen personnel to ensure high food quality, timeliness, proper food handling, and a safe, sanitary kitchen.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure employee safety.
• Work under the supervision of the culinary management team and follow all appropriate procedures.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Occasionally interact directly with guests.
• Adhere to company and department-specific appearance standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism that reflects our brand and company values.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Culinary arts courses or equivalent experience.
• One to three years’ experience as a line cook in a restaurant, preferably in an Asian restaurant.
• Ability to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.

• Ability to work around 500-degree ovens and within 40-degree walk-in refrigerators.
• Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a 10-hour shift.
