Responsibilities
- Prepares, seasons, finishes, and garnishes all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes.
- Follows all recipes and production specifications.
- Knowledge and execution of menus.
- Assists in all areas of food production as needed.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with state health regulations.
- Participates as a team member with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks, FOH and all other pertinent Associates in ensuring an efficiently run operation.
- Knows and follows all safety and security regulations in accordance with Grand Casino’s policy and procedures.
- Executes and prioritizes multiple orders with efficiency, quality, and adheres to food safety practices.
- Performs other assigned duties related to this role, contributing to the overall success of the department.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of restaurant kitchen production experience, with a minimum of one (1) year of cooking experience preferred.
- Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
- Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
- Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
