Line Cook (Food and Nutrition)

Position Summary

The Isaacs Center is looking for a line cook to assist in preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as per a pre-existing menu. The Line Cook is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, sanitation, and cleanliness of the kitchen and related facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as per a pre-existing menu.
• Assist in the maintenance, sanitation, and cleanliness of the kitchen and related facilities and equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals according to established guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Valid NY Food Handler Certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar position preferred.
