About Us

Dear Charles is Study Hotels' latest culinary offering, located inside The Study at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. Situated at the crest of Charles Village, the restaurant is positioned to become a hub for spirited conversations, local gatherings, and celebrations. The menu features Mid-Atlantic-inspired cuisine with the warmth of a village tavern—elevated but unfussy, using locally sourced ingredients to offer familiar dishes with robust and health-conscious options. The 85-seat restaurant is intimate, warmly furnished, and directly connected to the active pedestrian life of the village and the upcoming campus student center.
