About the role
Jim N Nicks Bar-B-Q is seeking a Back of the House position for a Line Cook, Expediter, Prep Cook, or Fry/Salad Chef with relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and guidelines
- Handle and transport food items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Support the team and maintain a positive attitude
- Perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, reaching, and turning
Requirements
- Possess a passion for food and service
- Be committed to teamwork and supportive of the team
- Have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Be able to stand for extended periods
Qualifications
- No freezers required
- Experience in a similar role is preferred
