Line Cook - Brotherly Love

Responsibilities

• Know and understand every item on the menu, including portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules
• Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of products served
• Work closely with the Chef to provide absolute consistency on every plate
• Manage timing to ensure every ticket is completed in an appropriate amount of time
• Stay focused on designated tasks during prime service hours and communicate consistently with co-workers
• Assist in prepping and getting stations ready for service when your station is set
• Maintain a clean and stocked work station
• Practice safe knife handling; seek training from the Chef if needed
• Assist in putting away deliveries when help is needed

Requirements

• Basic math skills (must be able to add, subtract, and count change back to customers)
• Legible handwriting
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills
• U.S. work authorization (required)
• Protective clothing required: slip-resistant shoes

Qualifications

• At least one year of kitchen experience (preferred)

Pay

$16.50–$18 per hour + tips
