About the Role
As a Twin Peaks Heart of House Line Cook, you will prepare best-in-class food for every guest. Each team member is defined by extreme standards and discipline to ensure 100% food quality, sanitation, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to uniform standards
- Follow prep and line build recipes
- Check quality of ingredients
- Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
- Ensure Heart of House (HOH) standards, safety, and sanitation requirements are followed at all times
- Work as part of a team
- Train using tablets or computers
- Perform any other duty or responsibility assigned by management
Uniform Standards
- Wear a clean Twin Peaks black hat facing forward at all times; brim must never be bent
- Keep hair clean and fully contained underneath the TP hat
- Be clean-shaven; beards and mustaches are allowed but must be well-maintained
- Keep fingernails trimmed
- Do not wear jewelry in ears, face, around the neck, or on wrists
- Do not wear headphones or earbuds
- Wear a clean, non-faded, wrinkle-free TP kitchen shirt tucked in
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook
- Ability to communicate in English
- Must be able to understand prep recipes and line build procedures
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to handle standardized situations with occasional or no variables
Training & Certifications
- Attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in the Twin Peaks HOH training
- Successfully complete the HOH training program prior to working a shift without supervision
- Complete any other required training in compliance with local and state regulations, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications
