Line Cook

About the role

As a Line Cook for Texas Roadhouse, you'll make made-from-scratch Legendary Food for our guests to enjoy. This position requires a team player with a positive attitude and the willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food safety guidelines
• Handle and prepare ingredients, including meats, vegetables, and sauces
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Follow established procedures for food preparation and service
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and procedures
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions

Skills

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
