Line Cook
About the role
Our Line Cooks have the important role of receiving food orders, preparing delicious dishes for our guests, properly setting up the kitchen so every Expert has the product and tools easily accessible during their shift. Our restaurant portfolio in the Colorado Springs Airport includes Mountain Vista, Red Rocks, Pizza Hut and Bristol.
Responsibilities
- Receive food orders and prepare dishes for guests
- Set up the kitchen daily to ensure easy access for all staff
- Requisition and stock necessary food, paper products, and condiments
- Handle, store, and rotate all products according to guidelines
- Maintain proper set-up and cleanliness of the kitchen/station
- Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
- Ensure quality of products served and perform general cleaning tasks
- Follow all recipes and practice portion control
- Take responsibility for the quality of products served
- Perform other duties as assigned
