About the role
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
- Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
- Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
- Maintain a clean and organized station throughout your shift
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Assist with cleaning and closing duties at the end of service
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team
Requirements
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one)
- High School Diploma or GED

- Experience as a line cook in a similar environment preferred

Pay
$23.00 - $26.50/hour
