About the role
As a line cook at Olive Garden, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to guests in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and guidelines.
- Ensure food is served promptly and accurately.
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient meal production.
- Adhere to portion control and quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for off-site training.
Qualifications
- Pass a background check.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Skills
- Proficiency in using cooking equipment and tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
