About the role
The primary responsibility is to prepare and cook meals in accordance with recipes and food safety guidelines.Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper portion control and quality of dishes served.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of cooking stations.
- Follow established procedures for food preparation and service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license required if transportation to and from work is necessary.
Skills
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Ability to read and understand recipes and food safety guidelines.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
