About the role
The Chop House, a Mainstreet Ventures restaurant, seeks to provide memorable dining experiences through high standards. We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time Line Cook positions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and food preparation guidelines
- Monitor food quality and safety standards
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Follow all food handling and sanitation procedures
- Work effectively as part of a team
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Valid Food Handlers Card
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Skills
- Strong knife skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and accuracy in food preparation
