Line Cook

Duties & Responsibilities

• Cook meats, veggies, and other menu items using a range of equipment—grills, fryers, ovens, and more
• Follow portion sizes, recipes, and prep procedures to keep quality tight and consistent
• Keep your station clean, organized, and always up to health code
• Stay on top of food rotation and storage practices
• Communicate clearly with the team to keep the line flowing
• Show up with ideas—attend team meetings and help us keep evolving
• Live the Taco Reho brand and make decisions that elevate the guest experience
• Be ready to jump in wherever needed to keep the kitchen running smooth
• Own your shift and take pride in every plate that hits the window

Qualifications

• 1-3 years full-service restaurant kitchen experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Culinary degree preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
• Must possess strong understanding of cooking methods & procedures, and knife handling skills
• Able to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
• Able to read & follow cooking directions and other instructions pertaining to the position
• Able to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of basic written & verbal communication skills
• Organized with a self-starter & motivated work ethic
• Must be a team player
• Able to stand, bend, stretch, lift, and carry heavy materials up to 50lbs

Pay

This position starts at $18/hour based on experience.
