Line Cook
What will I do every day?
Assist in the production of creatively designed cuisine
Cook according to menus, production sheet and recipes with consideration
Maintain kitchen and food preparation in a clean and sanitary manner
Deliver all invoices to Dining Services Director in a timely fashion
Maintain records or meals served and records of food and supplies used as required
Education/Experience Qualifications and Skills
- High school graduate preferred
- Minimum 5 years of cooking experience required
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to fully support kitchen brigade associates
Demonstrates understanding of Mise en Place through proper placement and preparation of ingredients
Special Requirements/Certifications
- Must have Food Handler’s certification as required or being willing to obtain one.
